Dear Jeff & Jill:
Well, it is hard to believe, but it has been almost one year since we moved into our new home. I would like to share with you some of our experiences since that move. Our home is so sound proof that we couldn’t even hear the coyotes yipping outside of our bedroom windows one recent night. I am a very light sleeper and I was amazed!
This house is also very sound structurally. As you know, we have had several homes built for us, but this one is very unusual. It has no hairline cracks or separations. Additionally, the insulation must be something else because we have one of the lowest electric bills in the neighborhood and we keep it cooler than most. The dogs have made that request and we aim to please.
The biggest nightmare can be after the house is completed and everyone is paid because you never see or hear from the builder or their sub-contractors again. This has not been the case with our home. Although we have had very little need for any call backs there has been no problem when we needed assistance.
Thanks again for getting us out of our barn apartment and into the house in less than six months. This 4400 square foot project went fast and for that we are very thankful. We had a great deal of fun during the process, but we were thrilled to get into our beautiful new home. All of the decorating selections are just wonderful. Jill was such a great help in this process. What GREAT taste! She made everything go very fast and very smooth. That can be one of the worst parts and the part that can cause many delays. So, thank you Jill. You also did a great job of keeping the “two boys” in line. It was such fun working with the three of you!
Sorry to make this a long letter, but you know I always have a lot to say. Thanks again for a wonderful home. We will enjoy it and Texas for years to come.
Have a great Turkey day and come visit soon. My tree house project is complete and ready for guests.
Cordially,
